Cheap Car Hire in Cardiff

One of the best reasons for hiring a low cost rent a car whilst you’re on holiday is to have complete flexibility over travel. You can go places when you want and you can go wherever you want, usually much further afield than where a reasonably priced taxi could take you or where public transport goes. What’s more, you know what the cost of travel is going to cost you right from the start, rather than seeing bus or taxi fares gradually creep up on you as your holiday progresses. Not being restricted is definitely one of the best reasons to hire a cheap car and we highly recommend it.

Places of Interest in Cardiff to Visit with a Car Hire

The capital city of Wales provides an amazing variety of things to do and see making your weekend (or longer) away packed full of excitement and sure to create plenty of memories. One thing that should be towards the top of your to-do list whilst renting a vehicle is Cardiff Castle. The castle has seen some serious transformation over the years beginning as a Roman fort, developing into a Norman stronghold and later becoming a Victorian Gothic Palace. The castle is the perfect place to begin to learn some history of this great city and a walk around the grounds is also a very pleasurable experience. In and around Cardiff you will find all sorts of fun activities to take part in. Try your hand at ice-skating at Ice Arena Wales, take on your family or friends at Treetop Adventure Golf, watch a show at the grand and picture-perfect Wales Millenium Centre and get into some sports action by watching Cardiff City football or Cardiff Blues rugby. Just a stone-throw away from Cardiff city centre is Barry and Barry Island. Here you will find a number of shops dedicated to the hit show “Gavin and Stacey” where James Corden made his television debut. Barry Island is a great place to grab some fish and chips, spend hours in the amusements and go for long walks by the water.

  • There are a number of big-name car companies competing for your custom so you can usually find an excellent deal.
  • We highly recommend that you book well in advance in order to get the very best prices.
