To help get us all get through the cold month of January, we've compiled a list of our favourite water parks in 2017. from beautiful scenery to brilliant slides, these are the water parks we all wish we could visit right now.

Waterbom Bali, Indonesia

Located in the heart of Lita, Bali is a great day out for kids and adults alike. Highlights of the park are the constrictor, the longest water slide in the world at 250m. The lazy river is also a must ride with its genuine vegetation making you feel like you're in a real Asian jungle. Another unique feature many adults will appreciate is the affordable Spa that offers fish foot therapy and even Javanese massages.

Aqualandia, Benidorm

Located in the heart of Benidorm, Aqualandia is a great water park for all ages. For fans of big water slides there is Big Bang, Europe's highest chute ride as well as a kamikaze and black hole slide. For those with younger ones the caves of Niagra and Adventureland have been specifically designed for weaker swimmers. For those who just want to relax the park has a wealth of large pools for peaceful swimming.

Wet 'n' Wild, Las Vegas

Perfect for escaping the scorching heat of the desert, Wet n wild is the premium water park of the state for both adults and kids. Featuring the zero Gravity inducing tornado slide to the kid park paradise falls, featuring an interactive water playground with a giant dumping bucket. The park is also very cheap as opposed to many other days out in Las Vegas, so is a great day out for those on a budget.

Typhoon Lagoon, Florida

One of the two Disneyland waterparks, Typhoon Lagoon is themed in the style of a tropical storm aftermath, with plant life dotted around man-made structures. The standout attractions in the park are Crush ‘N’ Gusher, a water coaster that propels riders through a series of climbs, drops and turns. Typhoon Lagoon is also famous for it's wave pool that creates waves up to 6ft high! Not only that, but the park is receiving an expansion in Spring 2017, making this the Disney park to visit on a trip this year.

Yas Waterworld, Abu Dhabi

The Emirates has a plethora of water parks on offer, but Yas Waterworld stands out as one of the best in the area. The theming of the park is exceptional, with some slides having, fog, lighting and music effects to enhance the experience. With over 40 slides on offer, You're unlikely to be disappointed by this Jewel in the Desert.
