Summer Holiday Destinations for Students

As a student myself, I know the craving for Summer. No exams, no stress, and binge watching Netflix guilt-free! While watching Netflix is good fun for a while, everyone knows that the real Summer memories that we create and love come from our Summers away. Whether that be a party-fuelled week in Ibiza, or a European city retreat with a loved one, today we've got some great destinations to add to your bucket list!

Magaluf - Mallorca

Magaluf is one of the most popular destinations for students and it is little wonder why. Known as the party capital of Mallorca, Magaluf is lined with sandy beaches, luscious sunshine and a dazzling sea which is perfect for a swim and a cool-off! That's just for the daytime, at night this destination really comes to life. A beachfront lined with affordable bars and clubs is sure to make some fantastic memories with friends!

Sunny Beach - Bulgaria

A slightly less popular destination with students but certainly just as exciting is Sunny Beach in Bulgaria. Relax on the beach which is lined with long, soft golden sands. There are even opportunities to horse-ride along the sea front! When night comes, Sunny Beach also offers the opportunity to bar-hop in the vast selection along the promenade. If you're not into partying as much, the mountains are a short hike away for a peaceful stroll as well as a select few old-Bulgarian towns.

Budapest - Hungary

Not your stereotypical student holiday but it certainly ticks all of the boxes. Good weather? Check. Cheap? Check. Thermal baths to underwind after a tough academic year? Check. What Budapest lacks in beaches it makes up for with its breathtaking history, sights and things to do. Whether you're staying for a day or two as part of a bigger trip, or you're there for a week, you certainly won't be short of things to do. Budapest is also home to the world's best kebabs, so there's only one way to your night (or day)!

San Antonio - Ibiza

A clubbing hotspot all year round, the island of Ibiza is famous for its glorious sunsets and non-stop party vibe. Attracting the world's top DJ's each year, Ibiza is the place to be for any student with a bit of a budget. Although slightly more expensive than other party hotspots, there is still a range of all-inclusive deals to make it a more budget friendly and for you to experience the Summer of a lifetime!

Hvar - Croatia

One of the most picturesque places in Europe, one trip to Hvar and you will want to be back time and time again. Another destination noted for its beaches and crystal-blue sea water, you will spend the majority of the time soaking in the calm atmosphere. That is not the only option though, with party islands such as Carpe Diem ripe and ready for you to explore. Despite being reasonably pricey to get there, the Croatian living costs actually make this trip one of the cheapest on our lists!
