Situated in Stanton Fitzwarren on the edge of the Cotswolds, Stanton House Hotel is a classic country manor house with a contemporary twist. Built with beautiful Cotswold stone it backs onto the breathtaking Stanton Park & Nature Reserve. Dine in the Cedar Restaurant and enjoy the views after an exciting day exploring or relaxing.
The outdoor terraced area has wonderful views overlooking the lake making it a perfect location to enjoy one of their wonderful afternoon teas, and if the weather doesn't agree, relax in the comfortable conservatory. With access through the gardens to the Lake and Park, they are well situated to enjoy unspoilt views, Stanton Park is a 74-hectare country park and Local Nature Reserve a few minutes drive away from the centre of Swindon.
It features extensive woodland and a large lake. The Park also contains a Scheduled Ancient Monument - the site of a Roman Villa (although there are no visible remains). It is the holder of a Green Flag award, which describes it as an 'inspiring and largely unspoiled example of a country park'. Nature Reserve status was acquired for 36 hectares of the park that includes the lake, woodland and grassland.
